Why is the inventory automatically set to "1" when a new listing is created?
Uniquify assumes that you are creating a new listing for a unique product. Therefore the minimum inventory is set to 1. If you need to change the inventory, you can do so on the "Preview" page (when creating the listing) or in your Shopify admin dashboard after the listing is created.
How is the SKU determined?
Uniquify finds the highest SKU in the store and adding 1 to it. If your new listing is already the highest SKU, Uniquify will use the same SKU.
What if I want to use my own SKU?
You can always override the SKU that Uniquify suggests. Just type in the SKU you want and Uniquify will use that instead.
None of the buttons are working!!
In testing, we found that buttons did not work properly on older versions of iOS devices. What are Uniquify's origins?
There was a store owner who needed a way to speed up their process of restocking their store with new listings. For many store owners, they simply need to update the inventory count; however, for this store owner, each of their products was unique and required a new listing. In order to create a new listing they would need to take photos, compress each photo for the web, and then post it to their Shopify store.Uniquify was born out of this need.
